Casablanca, Morocco

The first thing I always think of when I think of Morocco is OLIVES. I looooove olives. Think I get that from my dad. Luckily the few times I've been to Casablanca has been before a trip home to YYZ or just before my parents are visiting me. I then stock up for my dad & myself.

Onwards with the picture tour.

Fresh olives in the market. The variety is amazing.

I had such a hard time deciding what to get. Such pretty colours that I wanted to get EVERYTHING!
(I settled on a purple rectangle platter & a yellow salad bowl)

Was going to buy a pair but they don't look that comfortable....

Love love love the colours!

Dinner!

Appetizers. Was definitely interesting. I'm not a huge fan of sweet & savoury together but the sweet chicken turnover was quite good

Yes not much to look at but was really good. Beef Tagine with apricots & prunes (I ate around the fruit)

Tagine I eventually bought
(The bottom part broke in its journey home. Boo)

Tea glasses

Lunch: Beef Tagine
